Ceremony Locations

When it comes to choosing a location for your Central Coast wedding ceremony, commitment ceremony or vow renewal ceremony, the only limit is your imagination!

The Central Coast offers endless possibilities for beautiful and intimate wedding locations.  Here are some popular locations:

Pismo Beach Pier:  If you want to get married right on the beach, this is a great place to do it!  Pismo is a huge beach so you have lots of room and it’s a perfect spot for a beautiful sunset wedding.  The only cons would be the parking and there does tend to be a lot of people around during certain times of the year.  But if you don’t mind some foot traffic, getting married right on Pismo Beach or the pier is easy, perfect and gorgeous.
Avila Beach is also a great place to have a beach ceremony.  Just like Pismo Beach, there might be a lot of foot traffic during certain months but it doesn’t get as much fog as Pismo.  There’s also lots of restaurants and shops nearby too!
Montana De Oro (Spooners Cove) is about 30 min. north of Pismo and has GORGEOUS rock formations and tide pools.  It is honestly one of the most beautiful beaches you’ll ever see.  It’s located within Montana De Oro Park so it’s not nearly as crowded as other public beaches, especially during the week.
Cliffside Gazebos (Pismo Beach)  if you want a really nice panoramic view of the Pacific Ocean, getting married on a cliff side gazebo is  a great place.  There’s a few gazebos in the Pismo area that offer spectacular views and privacy.  Parking is no problem and the surrounding area is also beautiful as well.  Please note that these gazebos do have a reservation fee.
Morro BayBeach – This is also about 30 minutes from Pismo Beach.  I can tell you from experience that the Morro Bay Rock is an amazing site and makes Morro Bay a unique spot to get married.  There’s lots of beach area, good parking and there are tons of beach side restaurants at the Embarcadero if you wanted to have a mini-reception after your ceremony.
